Rabbi Mordechai Jaffa CM

​Rabbi Mordechai Jaffa was born in Lakewood, NJ, where he lived until he moved to South Fallsburg, NY for post-high school Yeshiva. He then spent some time in Israel, at Yeshivas Mir Yerushalayim, before returning to Lakewood to study in Beth Medrash Govoha. In 2021, Rabbi Jaffa moved to Pittsburgh to further his studies at the Kollel Jewish Learning Center. In Pittsburgh, Rabbi Jaffa has found a warm and welcoming community where he can broaden his scope of practice. Along with his knowledge in the areas of  tzitzis, shechita, kashrus, and tefilin, Rabbi Jaffa can now include Bris Milah (circumcision) among his repertoire of skills. Rabbi Mordechai Jaffa lives in Pittsburgh with his wife, daughter, and son. He enjoys studying at the Kollel, keeping up with the news, and spending time with his family. Rabbi Jaffa is passionate about getting involved in the community and appreciates a good debate and learning new things. He looks forward to meeting new people and assisting every Jewish boy in becoming a full-fledged member of the tribe!
